Singer/songwriter Jack Newsome is a pop thoroughbred. The New Jersey native was raised in music, starting acting and playing classical piano at age 6. During junior year of high school, Jack was signed to a Manhattan-based boyband project called “NY5”. He spent the second semester of his senior year in Berlin, Germany training in a “boyband boot camp” for a second project “New District”. Newsome studied at Berklee College of Music in Boston, studying the production stylings of Timbaland, Max Martin, Prince, and Pharrell. After two years in LA, Newsome wound up as a finalist on NBC’s “Songland” pitching an original to Kelsea Ballerini. She chose not to release it, and the song has now amassed over half a million streams under Jack's name. He also co-wrote the winning song on the Meghan Trainor episode called "Hurt Me". Jack has secured a number of features including EDM artist Said the Sky’s “Affection”, as well as penning songs for other artists such as PLATINUM, Matt Sato, Sean Kingston, and more.
